Enterprise architecture frameworks help organizations organize and understand their business processes, stakeholders, and information. This paper evaluates different frameworks and software technologies for software-driven enterprises. The researchers found that the Zachman framework is the best choice for these enterprises. They also recommend using agent technology for building information systems in this context. Many modern frameworks are not suitable for software-driven enterprises due to limitations in their software technologies.
