Wind data analysis reveals Sokoto as prime location for wind power generation.
The Weibull function was used to analyze wind speed data in two locations in North-Western Nigeria. The function accurately predicted wind-power density in both areas, regardless of their different mean wind speeds. Sokoto had higher wind speeds and better potential for wind power generation compared to Yelwa. The study showed that the Weibull function is effective for analyzing and predicting wind data in different locations.
