New discharge model revolutionizes water resource management in Lesti Sub-Catchment!
The study aimed to create a discharge model for regional planning in the Lesti Sub-catchment by analyzing factors like rainfall, evaporation, soil condition, and land use. Using the water balance method and GIS, researchers found that rainfall, evapotranspiration, soil water holding capacity, and water surplus were key factors influencing discharge. The relationship between these factors showed no multi-collinearity, indicating a reliable model for regional planning in maintaining water resources.
