Surface water in Ibeshe River, Nigeria was studied to see how textile industry waste affects its quality. Samples were taken at different points over a year, showing contamination in all areas. The water had high levels of harmful substances, not meeting safety standards. The study suggests that textile effluents need better treatment before being released into the river.
