Female leaders excel with transformational qualities, outperforming male counterparts.
The study compared male and female leaders to see if their leadership styles are different. They used a questionnaire to measure transformational, transactional, and laissez-faire leadership. The results show that female leaders tend to have more transformational qualities, which help them overcome obstacles and show their abilities. This can be important because conforming to gender roles can sometimes make it harder for them to meet the requirements of their role.
