Big-headed flies, known as Pipunculids, are parasitic insects found in Latin America and the Caribbean. They have been identified in various environments, from deserts to forests. A new catalogue provides detailed information on all known Pipunculid species in the region, including their distribution and host associations. This study aims to aid further research and conservation efforts for these important flies.
