China's Mineral Prices Soar, Threatening Global Supply and Affordability
The prices for graphite and soda ash in China have recently fluctuated, with amorphous graphite and soda ash seeing changes in trading values. China's graphite prices rose above the usual range, while soda ash prices were also expected to increase due to closures in capacity. Chinese soda ash prices are set to rise by Rmb 50/tonne (15.33/tonne) for heavy soda ash. Additionally, zircon prices in China currently range from 1,030-1,100/tonne for premium grade.
