Spraying Growth Regulators Boosts Mango Yield and Quality, Decreases Fruit Drop
The study looked at how spraying different substances on Keitt mango trees affected fruit drop, yield, and quality. They sprayed NAA, GA3, CPPU, BA, SA, and CaCl2 after fruit set and found that spraying NAA, GA3, CPPU, or BA decreased fruit drop and increased yield. GA3, SA, and CPPU improved fruit physical characteristics, while SA, NAA, and CaCl2 improved fruit chemical properties. Overall, spraying certain growth regulators and CaCl2 on Keitt mango trees can help reduce fruit drop, increase yield, and improve fruit quality.
