Schizophrenia study reveals predictors of theory of mind errors

The study looked at how children with autism understand others' thoughts and feelings. They tested 60 kids aged 7-11 with autism and average intelligence. By using different tasks, they found that understanding emotions of others predicts how severe social symptoms are in autism. Knowing how to reason about others' feelings can help identify children with more social challenges in autism.
