The Zimbabwe Stock Exchange was studied to see how well it helps companies raise money. From 1980 to 1992, the stock exchange was used more when it performed well. When the stock market index was high, more funds were raised. Government policies affected the stock exchange's performance, which in turn affected how much capital firms could raise.
