A new high-yield and quality late rice combination called Wuyou 76 was created by Jiangxi Hongya seed company. They used a strong restorer line called R76 and a female parent called Wufeng A. Wuyou 76 has characteristics like strong tillering ability, many grains per panicle, high seed setting rate, and a high yield. It was approved for commercial production in 2017 by Jiangxi Provincial Crop Variety Appraisal Committees.
