The researchers studied how nitrogen fertilizer and weed management affect the growth and yield of transplant aman rice. They tested different levels of nitrogen fertilizer and weeding methods on rice plants. The results showed that using 80 kg of nitrogen per hectare along with three hand weedings at specific times led to the highest grain and straw yields. This combination resulted in taller plants, more tillers, longer panicles, and more grains per panicle, ultimately increasing the overall yield of the rice variety BRRI dhan46J.
