Ideal solutions in TOPSIS based on vague sets have been expanded by introducing three new forms between maximal and actual ideal solutions. These new solutions consider the uncertainty in vague sets, providing more options for calculations. The proposed solutions can be converted to maximal or actual ideal solutions under specific conditions. When applied to landmark preference, these new solutions offer a more effective and feasible approach, presenting a fresh perspective on preference ranking.
