The study looked at how long palm oil mill wastewater was kept in a special tank and how long the sludge was aged to see how well it removed pollutants. They found that keeping the wastewater for 12 days and aging the sludge for 20 days worked best, removing around 40% of the pollutants. This method could be a good way to clean up palm oil mill wastewater.
