Revolutionizing Soil Management: Mapping Soil Properties for Improved Agriculture in Iraq
The study mapped soil properties in Jadwal Al_Amir Project, Iraq, finding strong spatial variability in sand, silt, clay, ECe, CaCO3, and O.M. content. The researchers used statistical methods to analyze the data and found a strong relationship between clay content and sqrtECe, CaCO3, and log O.M. content. Cokriging was shown to improve predictions for clay content and was considered accurate for evaluating soil properties in the study area.
