The article compares different methods for calculating peak cooling loads in buildings. The goal is to find the most accurate and easy-to-use method for designing HVAC systems. Five methods were compared, with the heat balance method being the most accurate, followed by the radiant time series method. The results show that using the right method can help avoid oversized or undersized HVAC systems, leading to better building performance in the long run.
