The CAMPLET program helps separate seasonal patterns from other important economic factors without needing to revise the data later. It works by adapting to the data and extracting the seasonal and non-seasonal parts. The researchers compared CAMPLET to another method called X-13ARIMA-SEATS using different types of data. They found that CAMPLET is effective in isolating seasonal effects and can be useful for analyzing economic indicators like employment, income, and GDP.
