The study looked at how different combinations of wild Indian major carps and hatchery-produced exotic carps performed in polyculture ponds in Bangladesh. They tested three species combinations and three treatments, each with four replications. The fish were fed semi-intensively, and water quality was suitable. The dominant surface feeder varied depending on the treatment. Overall, fish yield and net return varied significantly among the different stocking combinations.
