Venture capital plays a crucial role in the growth of entrepreneurial firms. In China, venture capital not only helps firms expand internationally but also deepens their presence in foreign markets. Different types of venture capital, like foreign investors or those with industry expertise, can enhance a company's international reach. This study used data from 300 high-tech companies to show that venture capital boosts both the breadth and depth of firms' internationalization efforts. By understanding how venture capital influences international expansion, entrepreneurs can make better decisions about growing their businesses globally.
