Climate models dominate hydrological projections, raising uncertainty in future water availability.
The study looked at how climate change affects water systems in the Ganga River Basin in India. They compared uncertainties from different climate models and from the way they set up their water system models. They found that the biggest uncertainty comes from the climate models, not from how they set up the water system models. This means that improving climate models is important for predicting how water systems will change in the future.
