Higher school quality leads to increased earnings for men born 1920-1949.
The quality of schools you attend can affect how much money you make later in life. Men who went to schools with fewer students per teacher, longer terms, and better-paid teachers tend to earn more for each year of education they have. This is true for both black and white students. Having more female teachers and better-educated teachers also leads to higher earnings for students. However, the income and education level of your parents don't seem to impact how much money you make based on your education.
