Smart buildings are managed using a Building Management System (BMS). This paper introduces a new way to supervise and control buildings using semantic technologies. They created a common data model to describe building elements like assets, spaces, and incidents. By using logical rules, they can control access to a data center and monitor temperature anomalies in buildings. This approach shows promise for improving smart building management.
