Water resources in Oman are under pressure due to rapid development, leading to water shortages and degraded quality. To address this, an Integrated Water Resources Management Plan is proposed. This plan aims to manage water as a vital part of the ecosystem and ensure fair and efficient water use. It will involve assessing the current water situation, developing national water policies, enhancing human resources in the water sector, creating new institutions, integrating water planning into the economy, and promoting community involvement.
