Frozen bull sperm revived by oviductal fluid, boosting fertility hopes
The study looked at how bull sperm behaves when exposed to different fluids from cow oviducts. They found that sperm moved faster in the fluid that helps them become ready to fertilize an egg. Sperm also showed more signs of being ready to fertilize an egg when in this fluid compared to other fluids. Overall, the fluid from cows in heat made more sperm ready to fertilize an egg than the fluid from cows not in heat.
