Boost Groundnut Yields by 60% with Phosphorus Fertilization!
The study looked at how different types of groundnut plants and levels of phosphorus affected the yield of groundnuts. They tested two varieties of groundnut plants and four levels of phosphorus in a field experiment. The results showed that one variety of groundnut plant, BARI Cheenabadam-8, produced the highest yield when given 60 kg of phosphorus per hectare. This combination resulted in the highest number of pods, seeds, and overall yield compared to the other variety and phosphorus levels tested.
