Economics students equally likely to punish free riders, challenging stereotypes.
The article "Do Economists Punish Less?" explores whether economics students are less likely to contribute to public goods compared to students from other disciplines. They found that economics students give less in general, but when it comes to punishing free riders, they are just as likely to do so as students from other disciplines.
