Vasectomy patients can get cleared earlier, boosting compliance and success rates.
The study looked at how the timing of post-vasectomy semen analysis affects success rates and patient compliance. They found that earlier testing at 8 weeks is better because patients are more likely to follow through. Azoospermia rates (no sperm) increased with longer wait times, but combining this with small non-motile sperm rates showed consistent success rates over time. This means that getting tested earlier after a vasectomy is a good idea and doesn't affect the outcome.
