The researchers found that transformational leadership has a positive impact on organizational commitment, especially through charisma, intellectual stimulation, and individual consideration. They also discovered that transactional leadership does not have a moderating effect on this relationship. However, charisma within transformational leadership does show a moderating effect on organizational commitment. This suggests that in hotel companies, having charismatic leaders who also exhibit transactional leadership can enhance organizational commitment, emphasizing the need for clear rewards, training, and education for leaders to develop these qualities.
