The article explores how past resistance movements in Europe relate to modern Euroscepticism. Different parts of Europe have Eurosceptic parties with varying political leanings, influenced by historical resistance to authoritarian regimes. By studying Spain and Poland, the author found similarities between the tactics and beliefs of their dominant Eurosceptic parties and their past resistance movements.
