New Tobacco Variety Boosts Yield and Adaptability for Farmers.
The researchers studied how different types of tobacco plants grow in the field by measuring how much dry matter they accumulate over time. They found that one variety, Yunyan 87, had the highest amount of dry matter in its roots, stalks, and leaves compared to the other varieties. This means Yunyan 87 had better adaptability and produced more biological yield than the others.
