The researchers studied how different types of large speckled beans grow in different locations over two years. They found that the environment had the biggest impact on grain yield, followed by the type of bean and how they interacted with the environment. Two bean types, G5 and G11, showed consistent high yields across all locations, making them good candidates for future planting in the midlands of Bale zone.
