The article discusses the current state of ecological civilization construction in China compared to other countries. It creates a system to compare countries based on their environmental quality, social development, and resource utilization. The research shows that China lags behind in ecological civilization, especially in environmental quality and resource use. However, China is progressing quickly in this area compared to other major economies. The study identifies the tasks and priorities China needs to focus on to catch up with more advanced countries in ecological civilization construction.
