Physical activity in schools boosts cognition and learning for children
Regular physical activity can help kids think better and do well in school. But in schools, physical activity and learning are usually kept separate. Some studies look at how exercise affects thinking, while others focus on how the body and mind are connected. By looking at these two types of research, we can see where they overlap and where they differ. A new way of teaching that combines physical activities with learning tasks is suggested to help kids learn better.
