A new method was developed to speed up data analysis for large sets of Decision Making Units (DMUs). By selecting a smaller group of DMUs and identifying the most efficient ones, the method reduced calculation time by up to 99.9%. This approach was tested on a dataset of over 30,000 electric power plants in the US and showed significant time savings compared to existing techniques.
