Turkey's electricity demand to surge 5.58% annually, reaching 344,672 GWh by 2023, Grey prediction model reveals.
In this research, experts predicted how much electricity Turkey will generate and use from 2017 to 2027. They used a method called Grey prediction, which analyzes past data to make future forecasts. The models they created for Turkey's electricity generation and consumption were found to be accurate. The errors in their predictions were low, showing the reliability of the models. Based on their analysis, they estimated that Turkey's electricity generation and consumption will increase by around 5% each year until 2027. By then, they predict Turkey will produce 405,310GWh of electricity and use 344,672GWh.
