Surgical Checklists Neglected in Resource-Limited Hospitals, Putting Patients at Risk
The dataset examined the use of a Surgical Safety Checklist in Bahir Dar City Administration Public Hospitals. Out of all patient files, 85.1% had the checklist, while 14.9% did not. Among the 313 checklists used, only 32.6% were fully completed, with the rest being partially completed. However, most operations that used the checklist had all three parts completed.
