The study evaluated the quality of drinking water from different sources in Gombe town, Nigeria. Water samples from boreholes, wells, pipes, and sachets were analyzed using the Water Quality Index (WQI) technique. Fifteen parameters were measured, including pH, turbidity, chlorides, and dissolved oxygen. The results showed that the water quality from all sources was suitable for drinking and domestic use, with the WQI falling within the excellent to good range.
