The researchers studied flood forecasting using a new method called ensemble forecast, which combines multiple forecasts to improve accuracy. They focused on the Jianghua basin and used data from the ECWMF ensemble forecast to predict floods. The results showed that this approach can accurately predict the range of runoff during floods.
