Foreign investment boosts exports in Spain, but not economic growth
The study looked at how foreign investment, exports, and economic growth are connected in Spain from 1970 to 2016. They used a method called ARDL to analyze the long-term relationship between these factors. The results showed that foreign investment has a strong impact on exports, but not on economic growth. In simpler terms, foreign investment influences exports, but it doesn't necessarily lead to more economic growth in Spain.
