The researchers studied how a growth regulator called CPPU can help apple trees produce more and better fruit. They sprayed different concentrations of CPPU on apple flowers and young fruits, and found that higher doses led to bigger and heavier fruits. The fruit set increased significantly with CPPU application, resulting in larger fruit size and higher yields. The maximum yield was achieved with the highest CPPU concentration. This study shows that using CPPU can improve the quality and quantity of apples grown, providing better products to customers at a lower cost.
