Agile methodologies like Extreme Programming (XP) work well in small teams, but can face challenges as teams grow. To address this, a new method called Xp / Architecture (XA) combines XP with architectural practices to help larger teams work together effectively. By applying XA to three software projects, it was found that this approach allows for the successful application of XP in larger teams while maintaining productivity levels.
