Organic fertilizer can help improve soil health and provide nutrients for vegetable crops like caisim. A study in Bogor, Indonesia, found that adding organic fertilizer to NPK fertilizer increased plant growth and crop production by 16-36%. The combination of NPK and organic fertilizer was 136-181% more effective than NPK alone. The release of nitrogen from organic fertilizer was balanced and beneficial for plant growth. The best rate of organic fertilizer for Inceptisols in Bogor was found to be 560 kg per hectare, along with specific amounts of NPK fertilizer, resulting in a yield of 134 grams per bag of caisim.
