Revolutionary Weed Management Boosts Rice Yield and Farmer Income!
The researchers studied how different ways of watering and managing weeds affect the growth and yield of rice plants in a special farming method called System of Rice Intensification (SRI). They found that giving 50 mm of water before weeding led to the best grain yield because it reduced the number of weeds and increased the number of rice grains per plant. Using a specific weed-killing chemical before and after planting also helped to control weeds and increase grain yield, nutrient uptake, and profits from the harvest.
