A new dry coal beneficiation system called COAL WINNOWING SYSTEM has been developed to reduce mineral matter and pollutants in high ash coal. Experiments with different coal sizes showed a reduction in ash percentage and increased clean yield. For example, coal from WCL -Marki Mangli mine saw ash percentage drop from 47.4% to 43.1% with a clean yield of 79.5%. Another study on ROM coal from New Sasti Mines showed ash percentage decrease from 55.8% to 37.0% with a clean yield of 48.17%. The system's efficiency was compared to the Allair Jig, showing better results in reducing error values for different coal sizes.
