Intercultural competence is important for good communication between people from different cultures. This paper looks at how having intercultural competence affects communication. The researchers reviewed a lot of information on this topic and found that not having intercultural competence can lead to problems in communication. They looked at real-life examples of Hungarian businesspeople working with partners from different cultures to show this. In the end, they concluded that being interculturally competent is key for successful intercultural communication.
