Young Europeans are actually satisfied with democracy, despite concerns that they are not. A study looked at opinions of over 350,000 Europeans from 2002 to 2017 and found that young people are generally more content with democracy than older citizens. Satisfaction with democracy has also increased among Europeans of all ages. As long as citizens see democratic systems working well, support for democracy is unlikely to decline.
