Greek Social Solidarity Income Program Successfully Reduces Poverty for Thousands.
The Greek Social Solidarity Income program aims to help extremely poor households in Greece by providing financial support. The program reaches about 6.5% of the population, close to its target of 7%. On average, households receive around 220 euros per month if they meet specific criteria. A survey was conducted to evaluate the program's effectiveness in targeting those in need and its impact on poverty. The results show that the program is reaching its intended recipients and is helping to alleviate poverty in Greece.
