Low seeding rate boosts wheat yield in Ethiopia, revolutionizing local agriculture.
The study looked at how different amounts of seeds and types of wheat varieties affect the growth and yield of wheat in Kombolcha, Ethiopia. They found that using 100 kg of seeds per hectare led to better growth, yield, and profit compared to using 150 kg. The variety called Picaflor combined with 100 kg of seeds per hectare gave the highest yield. This suggests that farmers in the area could benefit from using this specific combination for growing wheat.
