Mineral-rich city's industry structure unchanged, faces challenges in sustainable development.
The study looked at how a city heavily reliant on mineral resources, Jiaozuo City, is structured economically. By analyzing different industries and their production factors, the researchers found that most industries in the city still heavily rely on resources and labor. They also discovered that resource-based industries have different production factor structures compared to other industries. The main differences were found in research and development spending, total investment in fixed assets, and coal consumption.
