Regional Trade Agreements in Africa, like COMESA, ECOWAS, and SADC, have boosted trade among member countries from 1965-2012. These agreements have reduced trade costs and increased trade flows, leading to economic integration and stronger trade relationships. While some agreements didn't meet expectations, overall, RTAs in Africa have had a positive impact on trade.
